September 2024 Pricing

Numerous economic factors have contributed to us raising prices of advanced services at the end of this month so that we can keep the doors open and the tires rolling.

For those of you who haven’t heard, my name is Mike and it’s been a year since I’ve had the privilege of assuming ownership of Rockville Bike. I’m proud to continue John and Esther’s legacy of serving the community with quality repairs, events, and advocacy through over two decades in our small shop.

Part of this is learning from the best, getting to know this amazing community, all while bringing my own experiences and ideas. While we’ve tried to keep prices lower than others, a number of economic factors have contributed to us raising prices of advanced services at the end of this month. I want to emphasize that our basic labor costs will stay the same, our aim is to keep being as affordable as possible. Our full list of services and prices are available on our website.

This past year has been very productive for the shop, and we hope to continue that trend. We moved from written invoices and receipts to a digital point of sale system, allowing us to streamline our customer service. By visiting our website, you can see our involvement with the community we serve. We enjoyed getting to know so many of you through new events where we have done repairs, brought merchandise, and shared cycling information. Speaking of our website, we created a website to share information from anywhere you can connect to the internet!

As we reflect on the past year, we are excited to continue to serve the community as Rockville Bike has done for over twenty years. To accomplish this, we need to make changes that allow us to remain competitive so that we can keep the doors open and the tires rolling. We hope that you understand that decision was not made suddenly and we value your continued support and patronage.
